Youth Staff

  • Paraskavoula Maloutas

    Youth Program Coordinator

Voula was born and raised in Astoria, NY, but has called Pine Hill home for several years now. She has studied Creative Writing and Journalism and has a Master's degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Hunter College. Voula has spent much of her career working with kids, so much so that she is often mistaken for one. Voula’s enthusiasm for summer, reading, and cats often spills into the fun she creates in our programs.

  • Caitlin Tucker-Melvin

    Youth Program Coordinator

Caitlin joins us from Accord, NY. She has an extensive background in youth programming, operations, and arts. Her hobbies include painting, journaling, reading, and trail running. She is a creative soul with a passion for play, collaboration, and community. When she’s not engaging with our youth, she enjoys growing corn at Hortus Arboretum and hanging out with her dog, Harper.

  • Hanna Fitzgerald

    Summer Camp Assistant

Hanne comes to us from Highland, NY. The oldest of three, Hanne has spent many years babysitting for her family and other neighborhood kids. She loves summer in the Catskills and can’t wait to share her passion for singing and dancing with the new summer campers.

  • Hudson Turba

    Summer Camp Assistant

Hudson is a Pine Hill local. He is studying Environmental Engineering at Lafayette College. Hudson plays four instruments, has quite the travel record, and loves playing soccer. He will, without a doubt, be getting your kids outside for some fun this summer.

This place is the best because it has so much fun stuff
— Griffin (Age 5)

The Pine Community Center was created to give youth a safe, fun, and educational place to spend time. With a large variety of books on the shelves, craft supplies, air hockey, pool, ping pong, and more youth can socialize, play and learn whenever our doors are open.

To this day we provide summer camp and youth activities and enrichment for all ages year round.
